An advanced, holistic manual therapy system that combines:

Fascia Release Free up restrictions in the fascial system–the connective tissue matrix that controls how all the parts of your body relate to each other–for greater mobility and reduced tension.

Movement Re-Patterning Learn new ways of moving your body, as it becomes more available and spacious, that reinforce healthy patterns and prevent returning to your old ways.

Mind-Body Integration Discover the emotional patterns and beliefs that keep you feeling stuck and unable to change.

The Soma Series

“I noticed physical changes happening quickly. Now, I have much better posture that I can find and maintain with ease. I also have improved proprioception, and feel stronger and more aligned. Soma promoted healing all over my body in ways I wasn’t expecting.”

— Tara W., after receiving the Soma 11-Series

Transform deeply rooted patterns

Whatever your primary concern, it takes a global approach to bring your body back into harmony. The Soma 11-Series was developed in the tradition of the 10-Series created by Ida P. Rolf, PhD. In the Series, we work incrementally to re-balance the whole-body network of fascia. When all the parts are moving and communicating freely, you can experience greater ease and vitality.

The Series goes beyond bodywork. In addition to the hands-on work, it includes:

  • Movement re-education, primarily focused on gait

  • Somatic exercises

  • Readings that expand on the themes uncovered during the sessions

  • Reflective journaling prompts

  • Before and after photos and drawings to track progress

Each session builds on the previous ones—completing all 11 sessions allows you to receive the most lasting benefit. The Soma 11-Series consists of three parts, with an option to take a break between each segment.

Part I: The Sleeve

Balance the existing structure by releasing the large outer muscle groups, known as “the sleeve”

Session 1: Expansive breath—rib cage, diaphragm, shoulders

Session 2: Grounding in yourself—feet, lower legs and knees

Session 3: Coming into the present moment—side body, pelvis and shoulders

Part II: The Core

Create greater alignment for the deeper structures of the spine and pelvis, “the core”

Session 4: Support the pelvis from below—ankles, knees, adductors and external pelvic floor

Session 5: Release the front body—upper legs, front of pelvis, abdomen, psoas

Session 6: Free the back body—calves, hamstrings, pelvis, and back

Session 7: Balance the top of the spine—head, neck, face and jaw, with option for intraoral and intranasal work

Part III: Integration

The key to creating lasting change: discover and refine new movement patterns

Session 8: Grounded sense of self—lower body integration

Session 9: Levity and expansion—upper body integration

Session 10: Self expression—arms, neck and shoulders

Session 11: Completion—whole-body integration

SourcePoint Therapy®

A simple approach to energy work that enhances what you do on the physical level to support your health

“During the first SourcePoint session, I was amazed to reconnect with my inner intuition and energy in order to make some profound discoveries and life-changing epiphanies. Now I’ve been doing it for a few months, and every session is different but consistently eye-opening!”

— Jeana D.

How I fell in love with SourcePoint

Before I ever heard of Soma, I received Rolfing Structural Integration from a practitioner who incorporated SourcePoint Therapy in her work, and it blew me away.

That something so subtle, so unseen, could have a tangible impact on my physical body was astounding. I had no experience with energy work like Reiki; it was all new to me. And then I fell in love with the simple words in which this practice is rooted:

Order • Balance • Harmony • Flow

Now, it’s one of my favorite practices—I use it for self care, and I love sharing it with people (and animals, plants...) I firmly believe that regular SourcePoint sessions can have a profound effect on your nervous system, and it can improve your ability to connect with yourself.

What to Expect

I recommend you try this work if you:

  • Want to feel deeply restored

  • Are feeling energetically or emotionally stuck

  • Need to reconnect to yourself

  • Seek nervous system regulation support

Everyone’s experience is different, but one thing I hear consistently from clients is that new insights reach them in these sessions. Our minds, bodies, and the greater field all communicate more freely, and that flow of information is something our systems respond to.

For this session, wear comfortable clothes. You’ll spend about 45 minutes on the table, usually face-up. We are typically quiet during the session, and you will hear me walking around the table as I hold points in your energetic field to the side or above your body. I will make light contact at times, but tissue manipulation is often not necessary.

Beforehand we’ll chat about any intentions you have for the session, and after we’ll discuss what came up for you. When you leave, go for a short walk to allow yourself to slowly come back into the present, as sometimes these sessions can take us deep into ourselves.

I recommend doing at least 3 sessions to experience the greatest benefit. To facilitate this, contact me about receiving a discount on 3+ sessions.
